| Description: | Responsible to attend various cultural showcases to determine a selection of choices for programs to bring to Parkway. Cultural events are fun and educational for our students and are pertinent to the current curriculum. | |
| Holiday Boutique | ||

| Description: | Responsible for organizing, set-up, and scheduling volunteers. Also need to work with the vendor and to get the initial merchandise and all additional inventory needs. Additional parents are needed to help set-up and assist students with their shopping lists. | |

| Description: | Responsible for hosting several special events such as Teacher's Welcome Back Breakfast, Pumpkin Patch Food Sales and Teacher Appreciation Week. | |

| Description: | Volunteers are needed to distribute lunches on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:45 to 12:15.
This committee manages the lunch program with Simply Gourmet. Additional volunteers are needed to distribute lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. |

| Ice Cream Sales | ||

| Description: | Responsible for collecting student choices, ordering ice cream selections, tallying money and maintaining inventory. | |
| Newsletter | ||

| Description: | Parkway's newsletter is called "Parkway Press". This monthly publication includes the current month's calendar, any special announcements and highlights a particular class or department of the school. | |
| Pizza Lunches | ||

| Description: | Manages the ordering and distribution of pizza lunches for the children. Class parents are responsible to distribute or to find a substitute parent to distribute lunches every Wednesday from 11:50 am to 12:15 pm. | |

| Description: | Responsible for maintaining the membership of the PTA. | |
| Publicity | ||

| Description: | Take photos at all the school events and submit them to the local newspapers. | |
| Pumpkin Patch Fair | ||

| Description: | Responsible for the annual Pumpkin Patch Fair. Planning for this event begins in July and we estimate to need over 100 volunteers to ensure a safe, fun and successful event. | |
| Red Ribbon Week | ||

| Description: | We will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 26-30. Each child and teacher will receive a Red Ribbon which signifies a commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. This committee will be responsible for ordering ribbons, preparing a letter and assembling it all to give to each class. | |
| Renaissance | ||

| Description: | Organizes trips to see Broadway shows for parents and teachers. | |
| Scholarship | ||

| Description: | Attend monthly meetings at the BOE office and report information back to the school during PTA Meeting. Chairperson DOES NOT have to perform in the High School Scholarship Show. | |
| School Apparel | ||

| Description: | Responsible for ordering, sales, distribution, and maintenance of inventory for all school apparel and related items. | |

| Description: | Responsible to work with Walk-A-Thon Services to schedule a date for a pep rally and walk-a-thon. The chairperson is on hand the day of the event to help run the festivities. Additional volunteers are needed to ensure a safe and fun day for all. | |
